Vision 2030 realization office tasks and initiatives:

  • Representing the University to relevant authorities in order to implement the programs, directions, and goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the University's initiatives.
  • Supervising the construction, implementation, evaluation, and development of the University's programs that achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and related university initiatives.
  • Providing analytical support and problem-solving for critical issues facing the University in achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the University's initiatives.
  • Promoting a culture of outstanding performance at work and developing it in the University's sectors in relation to the achievement of Vision 2030 and the University's initiatives.
  • Building partnerships with relevant authorities in government agencies to achieve integration in achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the success of the University's initiatives.
  • Introducing the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the University's initiatives in various sectors of the University.
  • Building partnerships and agreements with the non-profit private sector within the Kingdom to participate in implementing the programs achieved by the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the University's initiatives.
  • Communicating with the Vision 2030 realization office at the Ministry of Education.
  • Communicating with relevant authorities in government and the private sector.
  • Communicating with faculties, supporting deanships, and various university sectors to establish and develop initiatives and programs that contribute to achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in various areas.
  • Receiving initiatives and programs that contribute to the achievement of Vision 2030, which are submitted by all faculty committees and supporting deanships, and presenting them to the executive committee of the office for the realization of Vision 2030 for further assessment.

  • Managing the performance measurement indicators of the Ministry of Education related to the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

Functions of the executive committee :

Tasks of the executive committee of the Vision 2030 realization office, initiatives and indicators at the University:

  • Studying proposals for initiatives and programs that contribute to achieving Vision 2030, which are received by the Office of Achieving Vision 2030 and Initiatives at the University and recommends their submission to the university's high management for approval and approval adoption.
  • Submit proposals to enhance performance measurement indicators for the Ministry of Education related to the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
  • Proposing appropriate solutions to overcome challenges that hinder the University from implementing the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

  • Activating and implementing the University's approved initiatives and programs.
  • Follow-up and supervision of the implementation of the decisions of the clinical administration regarding the programs and initiatives to achieve Vision 2030 and indicators at the University.
  • Explain the kingdom's Vision 2030 and request the college's employees to contribute.
  • Periodic follow-up of all college initiatives and programs contributing to the achievement of Vision 2030, which is approved by the University's senior management.
  • Preparing and submitting periodic reports to the Office of Vision 2030 and initiatives at the University on the performance and commitment of the college to implement the University's initiatives related to the vision.
  • Preparing and submitting periodic reports to the Office of Achieving Vision 2030 and initiatives at the University on the performance and commitment of the College in terms of performance indicators at the university approved by the Ministry of Education.
  • Regularly monitor the performance indicator levels related to the college and approved by the Ministry of Education to achieve Vision 2030.

  • Periodic follow-up of all the deanship's supporting initiatives and programs contributing to the achievement of Vision 2030, which is approved by the University's senior management.
  • Preparing and submitting periodic reports to the Vision 2030 realisation office and initiatives at the University on the deanship's performance and commitment about the university's performance indicators approved by the Ministry of Education.
  • Periodic follow-up of the levels of performance indicators related to the deanship and approved by the Ministry of Education in achieving Vision 2030.

 

Types of Initiatives and programs contributing to the Achievement of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030:

First type: Initiatives contributing to the achievement of Vision 2030 under the supervision of the Ministry of Education:

This type of initiative is supervised by the Vision 2030 Realization office at the Ministry of Education. It is applied for through the Vision 2030 Realization office and industries at the University when the application opens in the executive programs of Vision 2030 after the Vision 2030 Realization office at the Ministry of Education announces it.

The second type: is initiatives, programs and projects contributing to the achievement of Vision 2030 supported by the University: this type of initiatives, programs and projects contributing to the achievement of Vision 2030 is for all employees of the university (faculty members-male and female students-male and female employees) or members of the community and is supported by the University

The third type: is initiatives, programs and projects contributing to the achievement of Vision 2030 with the joint support of the University and external sectors: These types of initiatives, programs and projects contributing to the achievement of Vision 2030 is supported by the University in partnership with external sectors

In that case, they can submit their proposals to the university's Office of Vision 2030 and Initiatives. The submissions should be of high quality and strongly related to the strategic goals of the Ministry of Education and the third-level strategic goals of Vision 2030 that the university supports. This indicator measures the percentage of students and trainees who leave the educational or training system without completing their degree and includes post-secondary education (universities and institutes) and repeats the measurement of this indicator every 6 months (semi-annually).

Percentage of Saudis among the teaching staff at public universities

This indicator measures the extent to which universities are able to attract Saudi human resources from faculty members (Teaching Assistant, Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor) and employ them officially (non-contractors).

The total number of volunteer hours carried out by students (post-secondary)

This indicator reflects the extent of participation of students from universities and the General Organization for Technical and vocational training in volunteer work and the role of education in encouraging students to provide volunteer services in a way that enhances their moral values, love of volunteer work, responsibility and participation in collective actions.

Average total cost per student

The amount of educational spending on a student out of the total current spending on education in a given financial year, the extent of educational return and raising the quality of education on students in exchange for the cost spent on them

Number of published peer-reviewed papers issued by Saudi universities this

This indicator measures the extent to which university teaching staff contribute to the field of research to serve society's issues in the scientific, cultural and social fields.

Number of research partnerships with the financial return

This index measures the extent to which universities have implemented successful partnerships with the private sector to support research funding and raise its quality. 

Number of patents registered locally or internationally for university employees

The index measures the number of patents filed by faculty members at the local level, such as inventions, industrial models, plant varieties, schematic designs of integrated circuits, trademarks and other related fields
