What is the “Taweer” program?

The integrated human resources management platform aims to enhance administrative performance and invest in the workforce at Northern Borders University. This is accomplished through recruitment practices, training, employee evaluation and motivation, and the development of functional abilities. In addition, the program aims to create a supportive and stimulating work environment that fosters creativity, quality, and excellence. Its management philosophy is centred on the notion that the best investment in human resources is to unleash individual intellectual potential by encouraging positive participation and welcoming ideas and suggestions for improving the university work environment. The platform undertakes the following tasks:

  • Implementing HR practices that involve engaging in recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and fostering motivation among employees.
  • Activating programs that care for the employee, such as (employee Day and Employee House).
  •  Building a comprehensive statistical database of staff members.
  • Creating an electronic platform to provide various services to the university’s employees, including training, performance evaluation, motivation programs, and organizing events.
  • Supervising the committees related to the program’s objectives, such as the ideal employee award.
  • Developing plans and mechanisms for recruitment, staff development and administrative work.

4. Provide comprehensive training for university employees in various functional areas.

5. Implement effective human resources practices to support university employees.

6. Develop training programs to address employees' needs and establish evaluation and motivation mechanisms.

Establishing an administrative “Taweer” program is a crucial part of the development process for administrative staff at the university, in line with the Kingdom's 2030 vision to utilize human capital. The program recognizes that university employees have significant value as contributors to production and development and seeks to invest in their growth through training, motivation, and evaluation. One such initiative within the program is the employee's house, which provides support and addresses challenges to ensure job stability.
